20th April 2008 NBC 7 - Herts Hawks 12
The new season is now upon us, and NBC travelled to Herts Hawks to initiate this year's interleague match ups. The weather was holding up, and the first inning saw NBC quickly retired after showing some rusty bats. The Hawks bats showed better, and they steadily put runs on the board, capitalizing on several NBC errors. NBC began to pull a little back with the bat, but were victims of schoolboy errors on the bases and cost themselves dearly. The Hawks showed better defense when the ball was in play and came away winners on the day.
