The long awaited BBF Midlands League schedule for 2008 is to be complete by 25th March. After much negotiation between Leicester Blue Sox Mark Meredith, Matthew Norburn , John Tyas and BBF President Rob Rance, a schedule will soon be in place for the Midlands League. this is to include inter-league play to bolster the thinned out league for 2008. Leicester and Birmingham will play interleague games with Division One North teams throughout the season, and Northampton will play against Division One South teams for their part. Our Thanks to the above named individuals for their efforts in getting this situation resolved.

A vote of thanks goes out to Dave Bayley, who is stepping down as club treasurer due to work and personal committments. Dave will be replaced by long time club member Jim Kerr. Welcome aboard Jim!
